summarize( if your heart is broken, could Tylenol help?)

The article which I read is named if your heart is broken, could Tylenol help? According to the brain brain-imaging studies, the unpleasant emotions linked with physical pain are associated with activity in the dorsal anterior cingulated. That means if we have important relationship with someone, we can feel the social pain when something goes wrong. Such as loneliness, rejection, being dateless on Valentine’s Day.  The emotional pain also can be seen when we empathize with those who are in physical distress. The result of these study show that those taking acetaminophen showed reduced activity in the regions of the brain associated with pain’s unpleasant aspects.
It’s good to see that the author connect the social pain with the physical sensations. The author also mentions that emotional pain may manifest enough to cause physical pain. However we cannot always take pills when we feel suffering and pain from the relationship with others. Love can do funny things to people from being totally emotional to becoming depressed. Feeling social pain that is also a part of life, I think we needn’t to take pills to prevent social pain from our life. What we only need to do is enjoy it.
